my favorite game

Saints Row>GTA

Wale- eyes of the tiger

Maaaaaaan this is crazy! Crazy beat, Crazy rhymes, just crazy. Crazy meaning amazing of course. Wale really goes in on Tiger. Kinda late but maybe I just found it and that's on me. This dude Wale is no joke. He got jokes, but he's no joke. Man people need to accept how good this guy is at what he does. Just listen.

Royce- my own planet remix (feat. joe budden)

My favorite half of Slaughterhouse. It's so good to hear Royce and Joey on the same track. Always a pleasure. Even though this is a remix and I already have the other version I must say this one is better. Budden went hard as usual so I had to download this one as well.

Fight the power, Dez

So Dez doesn't wanna carry stuff for the other players just cause he's a rookie. Can't blame him. I like how he stands up for himself. Fight the system all you want Dez but don't screw over the team in the process. Hopefully the older players won't be immature enough to start some rookie-vet war this season. We need to focus and win. GO COWBOYS

New Public Enemy?

Old as dust(in hip hop years) and still killin' it. Gotta love it.

Lupe does it again. BMF freestyle

Thank you. This is why Lupe is my favorite. Because he's the rapper that doesn't ever really disappoint me. Listen to the lyrics. I can't stress that enough. This dude is REAL. Man this track is amazing. Just hear it. Yeah, there's an Illuminati line. haha. Try not to miss the references.

We need to find a cure for this disease killing hip hop

Yes you. Wow. I have to say this is a new low for what some people call music. Are you kidding me?the only silver lining I could find is that it's so short it's over almost immediately. But to your ears the torture might feel like 10 minutes. Someone cut his vocal chords. Can't we vote him off the hip hop island already? Man i feel like I might just record a diss track on this walking disgrace. And I'm not even a rapper. Man if hip hop is dead then soulja boy is jack the ripper, the zodiac killer, ted bundy, Richard kuklinski, O.J. Simpson(allegedly) and anyone else who has ever killed anyone or anything. I have to write in red because of how mad i am at this. WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT IN THIS "SONG"? Listen at your own risk

This kid is my hero

It's Ours

B.o.B., Wale, Kid Cudi, and Wiz Khalifa. Oh yeah Drake too. Not new but I just came across it. Ballin (except wocka flocka lame). It is kinda funny how he comes in talkin like a Pokémon

Worse use of 3D. EVER.

I should really go in on how stupid this idea is but I think the title of this post sums it up. I guess 3D is gonna be the autotune of movies?

Happy Birthday Terry

This cat used to be one of my favorite football players. He was a wide receiver for the Dallas Cowboys. Dude was a beast. No joke. Everything kinda went downhill after that but it's not a time for that talk. Happy 36th, man.

Somebody tell Rick Ross...

TO SHAVE THAT BEARD. AND STOP TAKING YOUR SHIRT OFF. YOU TOO BIG FOR THAT.

Movie Review: Inception

I am not impressed. Well, I am but not like I thought I would be. It just goes to show that if your expectations are to high the REAL thing won't be all that great. So all the people who told me it was so great kinda built it up too much. Oh well it was still worth the time. And it was a loooong time. Like 2 and a half hours. Anyway it has good acting, great action, plot is ehh to me. You can definitely tell it's by the director of The Dark Knight(one of the greatest movies ever). If you liked Shutter Island you will love it. It was a lot better. I'll say 8 out of 10.

La Chupacabra

So they think they found La Chupacabra in Texas. Oh goodness. I have to say the goat sucker is one of my favorite urban legends so it would be kinda cool if it were really found. However, I don't think they found it. I saw a video and pics and it looks like some kinda hyena type thing. Then again, it's Texas so a chupacabra would be more likely down there. The guy that killed one says he's gonna wait til he's sees some facts to give his opinion. Good move. Wouldn't wanna look too skeptical or too gullible. I'm thinkin there will a lot more "sightings" soon. This one cannot be denied because they caught the thing. So if this is the legend I say congrats to The Lone Star State. Someone right now...

This song is good on so many levels. What I take from it is that there is always someone out there who has problems comparable or greater than yours. So no matter how bad you think you have it, it could always be worse. I find myself listening to this song whenever I have a lot of crap to deal with. It really helps me get through it all. That can be said for the entire album Rising Tied just about. It also conveys the message that you never really know what someone is going through into you walk in their shoes so don't judge people based on what you think you know. Definitely one of my favorite songs ever since I heard it for the first time years ago. Just thought I'd share this because I know some people can benefit from giving a listen.

Smart move Ron

So Ron Artest found out what all rappers know already. Put T-Pain on a song and people will listen to it. Not that bad though.

"cowardly betrayal"

So I guess I'll be the one to ask...with LeBron in Miami...who's got next with his mom? That doesn't matter. What matters is that Dan Gilbert ether'd LeBron in that letter he wrote to Cleveland fans. a few excerpts:

"As you now know, our former hero, who grew up in the very region that he deserted this evening, is no longer a Cleveland Cavalier."

"You simply don't deserve this kind of cowardly betrayal. You have given so much and deserve so much more. "

"I PERSONALLY GUARANTEE THAT THE CLEVELAND CAVALIERS WILL WIN AN NBA CHAMPIONSHIP BEFORE THE SELF-TITLED FORMER ‘KING' WINS ONE"

Wow Dan I respect it. See Dan Gilbert keeps it REAL.
And LeBron, Kobe is still gonna keep winning rings so don't expect to get one in Miami.

Movie Review: Grown Ups

Hmmm this movie was not exactly what I expected. When I first saw the preview I thought it would be hilarious. I love the work of Chris Rock and Kevin James, Adam Sandler and David Spade are OK with me, and I can tolerate Rob Schneider. Then I started to think, Kevin James and Adam Sandler worked together to make one of the worst movies I've ever seen(Chuck & Larry). Maybe that's a bit harsh but the movie was terrible. Anyway, I started to think maybe the movie would just be dumb. It turned about to be in between my two expectations. So I liked it. It's mostly the 5 guys rippin each other's lives. Funny stuff. The kids are annoyingly stupid for their age but it's not enough to make me not like the movie. If you like Adam Sandler movies definitely go see it. If not, you still may like it but it's not a sure hit. I'd say out of ten it's about a high 7/low 8

Well played, Marshall

Disclaimer: I'm not d*ck ridin in this post I'm just givin credit where credit is due.

Eminem really impressed me with this one. Man Recovery is so good it actually makes up for Relapse. Definitely one the better albums I've heard in a looooooooooong time. Eminem is a surprisingly amazing punchline artist. As with every album, there is gonna be at least one song that I don't like (space bound). It's ok when you have so many songs that I do like. I'm into the more serious songs like "talkin 2 myself" and "you're never over"(there are more that I don't feel like listing) but I also like the classic Eminem feel in songs like "almost famous" and "won't back down" (again, there are more that I don't feel like listing). Also, try to hear "session one" if you can. It's a bonus track featuring Slaughterhouse. Yeah, Slaughterhouse. Most of my friends know I love Slaughterhouse. I could talk about this album all day but I'll just tell you all to go get it. NOW. And listen to the lyrics or you will miss out on some great lines.

Breakfast Club

still love this. haha

"i'm a muthaf****. no delonte west." lmao

You gotta hear this song. Joe Budden never ceases to amaze me. Neither does Royce.

Really Snoop?

This is a snoop dogg verse:

"Tone Tan

Fit and ready

Turn it up cause its gettin' heavy

Wild wild west coast

These are the girls I love the most

I mean the ones

I mean like shes the one

Kiss her

Touch her

Squeeze her

The girls a freak

She drives a jeep

The men on the beach

I'm okay

I wont play

I love the bait

Just like I love LA

Venice beach

And Palm Springs

Summer time is everything

Come on boys

Hanging out

All that a-s

Hanging out

Bikinis, tankinis, martinis

No weenies

Just to get In betweeny

Katy my lady(yeah)

You looking here baby(uh huh)

I'm all up on you

Cause you representing California(ohhh yeahh)"

Snoop what happened to you man? I remember when you were makin music worth listening to. And perhaps you still are but to be on a song with Katy Perry and cali swag district is beneath your hip hop status. You need to stay away from songs like. This sickens me. Maybe this is because I can't stand Katy Perry or her music. Either way I'm disappointed in this song in general. Get it together snoop.

Movie Review: Toy Story 3

TOY STORY 3! I waited like 11 years for this movie. Was it worth the wait? definitely. I don't care how old you are Toy Story is timeless. This one is way better than the second by the way. Honestly that one annoyed me. Even when I was little. But 3rd time really is the charm because they got this one right in nearly every way. Most of you probably know what "Easter eggs" are. They are hidden references or images in the film. Pixar had fun with all the Easter eggs in this. My boy Mason caught the fact that Sid is in the film. It's up to you to find out where. Good eye, Mase. If you don't know who Sid is you probably don't deserve to see this movie. Pizza Planet is referenced again. Pixar has used pizza planet in every one of their movie except The Incredibles(their best work in my opinion). Anyway, make sure you go see this movie. I'm gonna say 9.5/10. Although that might not be fair because I saw A-Team right before and I liked A-Team so much I didn't want to put another movie on its level. Oh well go see Toy Story 3 and enjoy the Easter eggs
