Movie Review: Due Date

I have been waitin to see this for while now. This is one hilarious movie. There is just comedy throughout yet they still manage to sneak some serious [sad] moments in there. I didn't expect that. But I think it made the movie even better somehow. If you like The Hangover you'll like this too it's similar in nature. And Zach Galifianakis is basically playing the same character because he acts just like he did in The Hangover. Jamie Foxx isn't in the movie very long so don't go for him. But yeah, it'll make definitely make you laugh. I'm gonna give it a high 8 out of 10

Movie Review: Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows part 1

That movie was Amazing. Honestly that should be the only thing said. Ish gets real Immediately. None of the little kids stuff from the other movies. This one is no joke. Complete epicness. Great film. Perfect 10. Go see it now.

Movie Review: The Social Network

Ok let me say fake Michael Cera played his part really well. I know his name but I've been callin him fake Michael Cera since Adventureland. Google Jesse Eisenberg and the 2nd link(imdb) says "Are Jesse Eisenberg and Michael Cera the same person?". See for yourself. Anyway, he played his role really well but interestingly enough he kinda acted like he always does in his movies(a Michael Cera-ish trait). This movie was really good. I expected it to be good but it was more intense than I expected(towards the end). Brenda Song it's nice to see you outside of that Paris Hilton ripoff you play on Disney Channel. I knew she'd play a groupie eventually. I just had a vibe. Anyway, she played her role well. I applaud her. I don't know ol boy's name playin the best friend but he's good. Not a Timberlake fan but I enjoyed the irony of his role. If you've ever heard of facebook, the internet, or college you should go see this movie. Way to go Jesse(see I used his name).

Movie Review: Despicable Me

Yeah I saw another Steve Carrell movie. He's a funny guy what can I say. Anyway, I'm tired so this review won't be long. It's a really good movie. Very impressive cast that includes Steve Carrell, Jason Segel, Russell Brand, Danny McBride, and that covers the important people. Oh and Ken Jeong. I like him too (no homo). haha. Especially funny for a PG movie. And I gotta say the music was dope. I love that title song by Pharrell. And I heard it months ago just so you know. umm, 8.5 out of 10.

Movie Review: Dinner for Schmucks

Well this was a funny movie. I have to say that. Somewhat disappointing but I had really high expectations just because Paul Rudd is in it. And dude is hilarious. Steve Carell played his part reaalllly well too. haha. Unfortunately Jeff Dunham is in it but don't worry it's only for a bit. Alan from the Hangover(I know his name but that's how we all know him anyway) was annoying. I wasn't impressed with his part. The opening few minutes are slow but don't be discouraged it picks up pretty soon. A lot of the humor is really out there but the jokes are still amusing enough. I guess I'll say it's kinda hit and miss. More hit then miss though. Out of ten I'll say 7.

Movie Review: Inception

I am not impressed. Well, I am but not like I thought I would be. It just goes to show that if your expectations are to high the REAL thing won't be all that great. So all the people who told me it was so great kinda built it up too much. Oh well it was still worth the time. And it was a loooong time. Like 2 and a half hours. Anyway it has good acting, great action, plot is ehh to me. You can definitely tell it's by the director of The Dark Knight(one of the greatest movies ever). If you liked Shutter Island you will love it. It was a lot better. I'll say 8 out of 10.

Movie Review: Grown Ups

Hmmm this movie was not exactly what I expected. When I first saw the preview I thought it would be hilarious. I love the work of Chris Rock and Kevin James, Adam Sandler and David Spade are OK with me, and I can tolerate Rob Schneider. Then I started to think, Kevin James and Adam Sandler worked together to make one of the worst movies I've ever seen(Chuck & Larry). Maybe that's a bit harsh but the movie was terrible. Anyway, I started to think maybe the movie would just be dumb. It turned about to be in between my two expectations. So I liked it. It's mostly the 5 guys rippin each other's lives. Funny stuff. The kids are annoyingly stupid for their age but it's not enough to make me not like the movie. If you like Adam Sandler movies definitely go see it. If not, you still may like it but it's not a sure hit. I'd say out of ten it's about a high 7/low 8

Movie Review: Toy Story 3

TOY STORY 3! I waited like 11 years for this movie. Was it worth the wait? definitely. I don't care how old you are Toy Story is timeless. This one is way better than the second by the way. Honestly that one annoyed me. Even when I was little. But 3rd time really is the charm because they got this one right in nearly every way. Most of you probably know what "Easter eggs" are. They are hidden references or images in the film. Pixar had fun with all the Easter eggs in this. My boy Mason caught the fact that Sid is in the film. It's up to you to find out where. Good eye, Mase. If you don't know who Sid is you probably don't deserve to see this movie. Pizza Planet is referenced again. Pixar has used pizza planet in every one of their movie except The Incredibles(their best work in my opinion). Anyway, make sure you go see this movie. I'm gonna say 9.5/10. Although that might not be fair because I saw A-Team right before and I liked A-Team so much I didn't want to put another movie on its level. Oh well go see Toy Story 3 and enjoy the Easter eggs

Movie Review: A-Team

So I saw The A-Team not too long ago and I must say that was one of the best movies I have seen in all my days. Action throughout, funny jokes, everything I need in a movie. Well that may not be everything but I don't feel like going through the criteria of a great film. I will say this movie met the criteria though. I gotta give mad respect to Sharlto Copley. He's the guy from District 9 and now I realize that he is an amazing actor because his character is so completely different that I didn't even recognize him. All the acting is good in this movie though. Bottom line: go see it. Now. Get up and go see it. I'll say it's 10/10. That good.
